Pittsburgh's Best: Paris 66 Bistro

Hey Rose Colored readers :) Happy Best of the Burgh party day !!! I'm sharing with you today an interview from my personal favorite Best of the Burgh 2017 winner, Paris 66 Bistro!

If you follow along at RCC Weddings you may have caught a glimpse of the incredibly dreamy wedding I just photographed in France (blog post of the whole wedding to come soon). The reason I was offered the opportunity to photograph this wedding was because of these two incredible humans, Renaud and Marie-Lise. I met the two of them about 4 years ago at a little French Bistro in Shadyside, Paris 66. They had just arrived in Pittsburgh to co-manage the restaurant and I was just looking for a college job. Through working together, we formed a friendship and I grew an immense appreciation for French culture.

Artist Spotlight: Julianne D’Errico, CMOA Material Worlds Fashion Show

This is my second and final post for this artist spotlight series to preview the upcoming Carnegie Museum of Art (CMOA), Material Worlds Fashion show happening Friday March 24th at the Ace Hotel. Friday nights runway show is inspired by the otherworldly designs of Iris van Herpen and her current prolific exhibition at the CMOA. If you haven’t seen this exhibit yet, it runs until May 1st, add it to your weekend plans!

What's in a name?

Why the name Rose Colored Creative?

The physical name Rose Colored Creative stemmed from multiple objectives. I wanted to create a brand that encourages femininity, embraces individuality and promotes positivity and authenticity. 

I was previously operating a business under my full name - Sarah Collins Photography. However, the name just did not feel like me... ironic, right? The decision to drop photography and add creative was an absolute must........
